Privacy Policy

Effective and updated: October 6, 2026

This policy covers data involved in the FnWave website, licensing service and ReaHanson. Browsing the public website does not require a FnWave account.

01Who handles your information

FnWave is responsible for personal information used in its website, licensing and support operations. Contact: fnwavesupport@gmail.com.

02Website, purchase and license data

Hosting and security services process IP addresses, browser information and request records to serve the website and downloads and protect the service. Browser local storage remembers your language choice; you can clear it in browser settings.

When issuing licenses, we store the recipient email, License ID and key, related order ID where present, status, issue and update dates, email delivery status and necessary administration records. These support delivery, troubleshooting, duplicate prevention and refunds.

Paddle and its payment providers handle payment information during Paddle checkout. We use necessary order and customer information for licensing; our license database does not store full card numbers or CVV codes. Resend sends license email using the recipient address, license information and download link.

Support uses messages and attachments you choose to provide. Do not send passwords, API Keys, full card details or client assets without permission.

03Local files and online AI

Sounds indexes, project paths and previews are primarily stored on your computer. Browsing the website or downloading the software does not automatically upload your entire library. App operations can modify local audio or REAPER projects; keep backups.

When you enable online AI, input, conversation and task-required text or context are sent to your configured provider. The scope depends on the feature and model. Local-first does not mean every AI feature is offline. AI UCS hybrid mode sends text, not audio; audio similarity analysis and indexes run locally.

If your build enables online license sessions, that service also processes License IDs, device identifiers, session timing and necessary connection details for concurrent-use checks and device changes. Builds without that service should not be assumed to perform online device checks.

04Purposes, providers and international processing

We use necessary information to deliver licenses and updates, respond to support, send essential service notices, maintain security, process transactions and meet legal obligations. We do not sell personal information or share it for third-party advertising. Where applicable law requires consent, we will request it.

Paddle: the seller of record handles payments, billing, taxes and refunds and shares the order and customer information needed for license delivery. Its Privacy Policy governs payment data.

Sites and Cloudflare: provide website hosting, security and installer downloads, handling necessary request and connection information. Resend: uses recipient addresses and license content to send delivery emails. We provide these services only with information needed for their respective tasks.

Your chosen AI provider: processes input and task context sent when you enable the relevant online features, under its own Privacy Policy. We do not claim that online AI is entirely offline.

Necessary information may also be provided to competent authorities or professional advisors for legal requirements, service security or legal matters. Providers may process information outside your country or region, subject to relevant safeguards and legal requirements.

05Retention, security and your choices

We retain information only for as long as needed for licensing, support, security, transaction records and legal obligations, then delete or de-identify it. Records needed by law or for disputes may not be immediately removable.

We restrict administrative access and protect transmission and service credentials, but no network service can guarantee absolute security. Keep license keys and API Keys private.

Email us to request access, correction or deletion, or to object, restrict processing, withdraw consent or complain where applicable law provides those rights. Necessary identity verification may be required. Withdrawing consent does not affect earlier lawful processing. Clearing browser preferences does not delete order or license records; you manage local files and databases yourself.

06Children

Our products are intended for professional creators and adult users. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has supplied us with personal information, contact fnwavesupport@gmail.com. Once verified, we will delete it or take other necessary measures as required by applicable law.

07Updates

We will update this page and provide notice as required when processing materially changes. Read it alongside the prompts and features in your installed app version.
