Smart Search: find assets

Describe the sound in a sentence and find individual assets in local libraries. It does not automatically compose the results into an effect.

Make your libraries searchable

Add, scan, and enable libraries in Sounds. Configure AI in Preferences and test the connection. Chinese descriptions are supported without manually translating each term.

Describe, listen, and use

  1. 01Choose Smart Search in Chat.
  2. 02Enter a specific description, such as “a dry, short wooden impact with a splintering texture.”
  3. 03Audition up to six candidates, then drag a suitable sound into your DAW.
  4. 04If results miss the target, specify a change, such as “shorter, without obvious room reverb.”

You can also start in Sounds

Click the lightbulb in Sounds for natural-language search. For reference audio or recording-based search, use Find Similar; these are different search methods.
